Soroptimist Int’l Awards – Centerton Country Club
I had the occasion to eat at the Centerton Country Club in Centerton New Jersey before the Soroptimist International of Cumberland County Awards started with an attendance of around 400 people. I had a great time with my wife Joanne who received a $3000,00 grant to help her along to a degree in environmental sciences.
The coffee was great and I consider myself to be a devout follower of “The Bean”. The chicken stuffed with rice was better than average and the soup was above average.
I did not eat the cheesecake, no extra flavors when it comes to my cheesecake please. I’m sure someone thought it was a good idea mix tangerines and cream cheese, but it sure as hell was not me man. The only good thing about that was it looked kinda cool.
I always enjoy my father & mother in-law’s company. Very good people, and for folks in their 70’s the most active you’ll ever meet.
All in all a good night out.
